The Bay Centre continues its partnership with the Victoria Arts Council through the project [WINDOW][WINDOW][WINDOW] .

Over the course of the next year, this project will contribute to the long history of contemporary artists activating storefronts for means beyond the commercial, and will be viewable from the street at all times of day and night. Across three large windows on Fort Street, the work of internationally recognized artist Vikky Alexander is presented until September 30th. Her photographic series, Tokyo Showrooms, plays with perception and allusion, causing pause in passersby to rethink the potential of place, and how/ where commerce meets aspiration in our contemporary society.

VAC Project Space is located at the Bay Centre’s exterior at 670 Fort Street.
