Public transit is one of the easiest ways to travel to and from downtown Victoria. Most of BC Transit’s bus routes stop in front of the Bay Centre or pass within a few blocks of the Centre, making this transportation option both affordable and convenient. Take a look at the BC Transit’s website for current info on routes and scheduling.
Cycling trips account for almost 10% of all daily work trips in the City of Victoria – the highest bicycle mode share of any major City in Canada and among highest rates of bicycle use in North America. The Bay Centre offers anchored bike racks in our well-lit enclosed parkade that are patrolled by uniformed security, offering a secure locking station. Bike racks can also be found at the Bay Centre’s View Street entrance.
Secure bike cage parking with change room facilities are also available for $30/monthly. Please call 250 952-5680 for details.
The Bay Centre is steps away from regular float plane and helicopter service from Vancouver and Seattle. The Centre is only a 30-minute drive from Victoria International Airport (YYJ) .
