Victoria, British Columbia - The Bay Centre and GoodLife Fitness announced today that The Bay Centre will be home to the newest fitness facility in Victoria. GoodLife, Canada’s leading fitness company, has leased 19,913 sq. ft. on the fourth level of The Bay Centre and will be opening a state-of-the-art fitness facility by summer 2010.
The addition of this new club will mark the second GoodLife Fitness club in Victoria after Tyee Road and the company’s 16th location in Western Canada. GoodLife will be offering the same great amenities featured in each of its clubs including top-of-the-line cardiovascular and strength equipment and the popular cardio theatre entertainment system. The “only at GoodLife” edgy Les Mills group exercise programs, considered the best in the world, will introduce members to popular programs such as BodyFlow (yoga moves), BodyJam (dance based exercise to great music) and RPM (indoor cycling). Additional services include personal training and a virtual reality fitness and health assessment tool called the Visual Fitness Planner.

To date, Cadillac Fairview has invested $1 million on new floor-to-ceiling windows and other improvements on the fourth level. Another $3 million will be spent to prepare the space for GoodLife Fitness.
